By Mogg's unobtainium claws! Tonight while slicing cheese for my supper, I managed to take a piece of skin about the size of a dime off my knuckle. Hurt like a bean sídhe and bled like a stuck pig. Hqiz, that slicer was sharp.

The sandwich was good, though. Now if my finger would just stop throbbing...

It was a special peeler, actually designed for peaches - takes off very thin slices and - as I discovered to my dismay - extremely sharp. It was sort of like a Piranha bite...

Poured alcohol all over it (the non-drinkable kind) - I was bracing for a searing jolt of pain but for some reason it didn't sting any worse than it already was. Put antiseptic ointment all over and got the flap pasted down with a bandaid (plaster for you Limeys) and hope it will heal proper. Still sore, but no swelling as such.
