People can be downright nasty.

While hunting around for the proper spelling of "Ketiva ve-chatima tovah", I discovered that the top 8 or 10 listings are either malware sites or have been infected by hackers.

This is what I got, including a convincing-looking animation of the progress bar:



Click on "Start Protection" and you'll get this:



which contains the malware package.

Fortunately my real virus-protector blocked any unpleasantness, but sheesh...

I assume you're running AdBlock and/or NoScript on your Firefox browser. I just found out about Ghostery http://www.ghostery.com/ which tells you what sites your browser is sending your data to. You can never be too paranoid.

Have been using adblock since the beginning, but did not know about NoScript, which has now been added. Thanks for the tip(s).
